Secret Pyramids Discovered in Sigiriya, Sri Lanka?

Hey guys, today we are going to find out what really existed in this ancient site called Sigiriya, in Sri Lanka. Sigiriya is a giant rock, on top of which, we have some of the most baffling ruins. The official story about these ruins is this: these brick walls are remnants of a palace built by a King called Kasyapa, around 500.A.D – all archeologists and historians claim that this is a fact. But, by the end of this video, I hope you will agree with me that this is entirely false and a very unique structure was built on this site. For example, let us look at the largest brick structure here, this area is considered as a palace by experts and the rest of structures are thought of as a recreational garden, including a pool. The dimensions of this so called palace are about 60 feet in length and 30 feet in width. This means that the palace area is less than 2000 square feet, just too small to be a palace which cannot even accommodate 10 rooms.

Now if we assume that this is just a really tiny palace for the king, what about his wives and servants? Where are the rooms for cooking, storage and bathrooms? What about the rooms for his soldiers, priests and ministers? Where did his guards rest? As you can see, this entire area is a very small place which could have definitely not accommodated a king’s Palace. Archeologists have put plaques on all 4 sides of this area, claiming that these are 4 sides of the palace. Look at this plaque, it says West Palace, meaning this is the west side of the palace. We can also see other plaques like South Palace, and one even says Palace Reception Hall. Today, this entire structure would barely be sufficient for a medium size house.

And we have already seen that the ancient builders created an elaborate defense system using water and rocks to prevent anyone from reaching the top of Sigiriya. There is no need to go to great lengths to build an entire line of defense systems which stretches for miles at the ground level, only to protect a tiny palace on top of a tall rock. In fact, this entire area or summit is simply not fit for any residential purpose like a home or palace, this was built for a completely different and specific purpose. If it was not built as a palace, what really existed here?

Now, Look at the construction of the bricks at the corners and edges. This was definitely not a rectangular construction like a typical palace or a fort, the walls of most regular structures would be at 90 degrees to the ground. If we observe carefully, we can understand this was once a pyramid. Look carefully..do you see how, the bricks are slowly becoming narrow towards the top? This is a characteristic feature of a any pyramid, all pyramids have a broad base and will become narrow towards the top. And you can see this slope from any side of this building , all these brick structures are slowly becoming narrow towards the top. So, this was definitely a pyramid but it gets more interesting, there is yet another special feature. This is a stepped pyramid, A pyramid which has many levels or steps. Look at here, here and here, these are all steps of the pyramid and you can see the stairs to climb the pyramid here. See how we can literally walk on these large plain levels. The entire structure consists of several of these steps.

And I am not spinning theories like mainstream archeologists and historians, I am showing you visual evidence of this stepped pyramid, this is the front view of the pyramid and we can even climb this step pyramid and let us go all the way to the top. Of course, a major top portion of the pyramid must have been destroyed, for some unknown reason. This is the existing top level and the alignment of these bricks is just weird. For some strange reason, they are not straight, they are laid with curves, like the body of a snake. There must be a reason for this, and I have no idea why this was necessary. I mean, the ancient builders definitely knew how to make perfect alignments, look at these perfect angles, and they were able to create many things which are impossible today. So why did they lay these bricks like snakes? I hope I can find the answer to this question someday.

Now, I have clearly shown you what was built on top of Sigiriya, it was not a Palace, it was a stepped pyramid. Now, around the world, there are many stepped pyramids, this is the Saqqara Pyramid in Egypt built more than 4700 years ago. We have stepped pyramids in Mexico, some Indian temples are also step pyramids and similar structures also existed in ancient Sumerian civilization. The top half of the pyramid is completely destroyed – Which means there is no way to find out how the original, full pyramid really looked like. But I am not done yet. This is an extraordinary find, we have just found out that a stepped pyramid was built in Sri Lanka on top of a 660 foot tall rock. And I am not going to make wild guesses. So, how do we find out what the full pyramid really looked like?

In all civilizations, you will find similar looking structures built in the nearby area. For example, you don’t find one Egyptian pyramid in the whole country, we find several pyramids, and we don’t find one Hindu tower, there are similar structures always built nearby. Based on this practical idea, I decided to hunt for another stepped pyramid in Sri Lanka. And after a few days of searching, I found exactly that, in the ancient city of Polonnaruwa.

You can see right away that this is a perfect match for the Pyramid at Sigiriya. It is a stepped pyramid, and this is also built with bricks and even the lime mortar set between the bricks looks similar to what is on Sigiriya. This base also has 4 sides, the quadrangle base is identical to that of Sigiriya. It even has stairs going up on the sides. So this is exactly how the Great Pyramid at Sigiriya would have looked before it got destroyed, and this pyramid is just a smaller version of it. But this small pyramid is considered the most mysterious structure in all of Sri Lanka. Why? Because experts don’t know who built it, why it was built, and they don’t even know its real name. They have recently named it as Sathmahal Prasada which simply means a 7 storied structure. Experts confirm that while they have historical records about all the structures nearby, there is no record for this structure at all. This is unusual in an area where there are plenty of records for all the other structures.

Not only are the tourists puzzled by this unusual architecture, even experts are baffled at its construction, archeologists have it on record that this is the only ancient pyramid in Sri Lanka. The construction is completely different from any other ancient site in Sri Lanka. But there is another serious anomaly here, the faces of all statues in this pyramid have been defaced or disfigured. Initially I thought this was because of natural forces like rain and wind, but when I carefully examined all sides, the identity of these statues was deliberately destroyed, this head was intentionally chopped off, and these faces purposefully defaced just like what they did in Egypt. Someone in the past wanted to intentionally destroy the true identity of the builder, and the true origin of this pyramid.
So, I tried to go into this pyramid to find out if any statues are left intact inside the pyramid.

However, archeologists have completely sealed off all the entrances, and there are guards who strictly prevent anyone from entering the pyramid. They claim that this structure is simply too old, and if anyone walks in, the entire pyramid might collapse. I have asked locals if they know anything about what is inside, and nobody has gone inside and no one has any interesting stories. I hope someday I can get permission to go in, and find out more. So, we know a very ancient civilization existed in Sri Lanka, which built pyramids. At least 2 of these pyramids are still partially surviving, one in Polonnaruwa and another gigantic one in Sigiriya. Why were these pyramids built? Are there more ancient pyramids in Sri Lanka? Are they related to the rest of the Pyramids around the world? And most importantly, was there an ancient connection between Sri Lanka and Egypt? Please let me know your thoughts in the comments section.

ūüĎĹ Mysterious ‘Ravana Rocks’ Found in Sigiriya – Ancient Aliens in Sri Lanka?

Hey guys, today we are going to explore this place called Sigiriya in Sri Lanka which is commonly known as Ravana’s Palace. It is a very fascinating place and on top of this rockwe have some amazing ruins. But once you reach the top and you observe what’s on at the ground level, we can see some really bizarre details. Sigiriya is surrounded by a massive jungle, and we can see numerous huge rocks placed all around. To a regular tourist, this appears quite normal – it is only natural to have rocks on the ground. But if you zoom in with your camera, you realize that these rocks have been put there and have the most bizarre tool marks which cannot be explained.

For example, look at this rock. It literally has hundreds of small cubes cut out of it.And on the top we even have a larger cube cut out, as though someone wanted to sit there and perform some kind of an experiment. Why would anyone scoop out hundreds of cubes on a rock that is in the middle of a jungle? This is not an isolated case. Pay close attention to what is around this rock,  you can see there is yet another rock hidden and it also has these cube marks all over it.

I have spotted so many rocks like this, look at this rock. Again, located in the middle of the jungle with nothing around it, but trees. Has so many cubes cut out all over it. Why? If you look at the panoramic view from the top of Sigiriya, this whole jungle is full of hundreds of these rocks, if not thousands – Am I saying all these rocks have been worked on? Actually, Yes, that is exactly what I am saying. ¬†How about this rock for example, it looks natural to the human eye. Is this a natural rock untouched by ancient builders? If you zoom in, you can see the tool marks, the same cube marks cut all over it,¬† but, may be you are not satisfied, because I wasn’t satisfied myself, so let us go down and take a look at how it looks from the ground level. This is how at it looks from the ground level. I mean look at these tool marks, this is just bizarre. We have to admit that ancient builders were doing something which is beyond our understanding.

After exploring this area for so many days, I can tell you that the jungle is full of these rocks which have all been worked on. And archeologists have no idea why these cuts were made. We simply don’t understand what ancient builders were doing with these rocks. The technology behind this is so far advanced, we have no idea why these were created. And this raises a very important question: Did they just work on the rocks that were already here Or did they also transport and place these rocks here, strategically all around the Sigiriya Rock?¬† I ask this, because it appears that these rocks are strategically placed, and looks as though they were set up to make it specifically visible from the top of Sigiriya.

Now, let’s go back to why these cubes were scooped out, archeologists have no answer for this, but locals call them ‘Ravana Rocks’ and claim that originally these cube slots had lenses attached to them. It is said that lenses made of crystals were placed in these slots. Imagine how it would have looked, this would be a stunning sight to see. What would have been the purpose of this? Was it some kind of a light technology, were they used to focus sunlight to a specific point? Today we use various lenses like fresnel lens for example to heat, melt and tap solar energy.

Were ancient builders using a similar technology?  Remember we saw these grooves and holes all over the rock face on the Sigiriya Rock itself. Were lenses placed on these slots and holes as well? Is this why we see these weird cuts and slots all around? What could be the purpose behind placing thousands of lenses in clusters all around a place like this? Why did ancient builders do this?

Se7en Stages of Defense at Sigiriya, Sri Lanka – Part I

Hey guys, today we are going to take a look at this giant rock called Sigiriya. On top of the rock, there are mysterious ancient ruins which have not been fully explained by archeologists. How did ancient builders create such extraordinary structures on top of a rock, which is 660 feet tall? But there is an even more important question: Why did anyone choose to build these structures on an impossible location? All experts agree that construction on such an isolated, inaccessible location means there was something verysecretive going on here. Whoever built this, clearly did not want anyone to come upeasily and find out what is going on.

In a previous video, we saw what was on top of the rock – in this video, we are going to see 7 stages of obstacles created by ancient builders to prevent enemies from reaching the top of the rock. Today, when we say Sigiriya we usually mean this giant rock, but Sigiriya actually stands for the entire ancient complex which consists of many lines of defense. The very first, outermost obstacle you face when entering the Sigiriya complex is the water gardens. This actually looks like a welcoming place and looks beautiful, and archeologists have named this as water gardens, but the truth is, this entire set up was designed to kill and destroy people who entered without permission. If you look at the ancient plan of Sigiriya, it is almost completely covered on all sides with water, like a fort with a moat, everything you see in blue is water.

In fact, even today, we enter Sigiriya only through bridges to cross over the moat. Of course, outside the moat, there is another line of defense, it is actually the first line of defense which is the brick wall. If you look at the aerial view of Sigiriya, we realize that an enormous outer wall, a rampart has been built for protection. I am not going into explain this wall because I have not studied it fully.

Now, going back to the Water gardens:¬† the water gardens, utilizes a very complex ancient hydraulic system. The water gardens can be flooded at will by manipulating the system, and even today, we can flood the water levels and completely stop everyone from entering this place. When you enter Sigiriya complex, you will see a series of tanks, brick walls, and strange constructions which look like a bunch of random structures which don’t make any sense. But when I went to the top of the rock, and then looked at the bigger picture, it is astounding because the area looks like a circuit board, built by the gods. There are 4 tanks, 2 on each side of the walk way. And there are four fountains symmetrically built, 2 on each side. These fountains still work today.¬† These fountains are connected to the moat.

Using the principle of gravity and pressure, water is pushed from the moat,  into the fountains, through underground channels. This will activate the fountains which will in turn fill the tanks, and these tanks are all interconnected at the base, so there will be uniform water level in all 4 tanks.  This snake like structure was also created to control the movement of water, water cannot flow straight, and will have varying speeds at different points because of the curves. Notice how everything is connected, and this is just a very small part of the water gardens, so you can imagine the complexity of this entire system.

Now, how did ancient builders flood this entire area? There are massive water tanks created all around Sigiriya complex and most of them are at an elevated position. There is a large artificial lake to the South of the Rock called Vava, which is connected to the moat and the fountains, and water can be released from it, at will. This will cause the moat’s water level to rise and cause flooding all around Sigiriya. We can also flood specific areas, without affecting the other areas, we can specifically flood this entrance alone.

If we push some small obstructions through the conduits to the water fountains, the fountains will not be able to close, and will continue to keep releasing water, and will flood the entrance. If we explore the ground level, we can see many tanks which collect rain water, and  they have conduits which can be opened for flooding the area. And each tank is different and has some extraordinary feature. Remember, in Sigiriya, ancient builders used nature as a part of their construction. Look at this octagonal tank with 8 sides, 6 sides have been built by placing rocks artificially, but 2 sides are actually made of natural rocks in their original position.

Releasing water from these tanks will result in slow and steady flooding, since the speed of water flow depends on elevation. The higher the tank, the faster the water will flow. So, the most important tanks are located on top of the Sigiriya rock, which are capable of holding enormous amount of water. There are at least 3 large tanks and several smaller ones on top of the rock. On the rock face, we can see these ancient channels carved for routing the water from the tanks to the ground level. In the center of this large tank, we can see something that is called the “Stairs to Nowhere”.

There are stairs which come out of the pool and lead to a chair, all cut out in granite, and no one knows why this seat is carved. What is the purpose of this seat? If you sit on the chair, it gives a view of the entire area and you can spot an army marching hundreds of miles away, and then all you have to do is  get in and open the drain to this massive tank, which will act as a signal to open all the other tanks and will flood the entire ground level in a matter of hours.

Now, what happens when the entire ground level gets flooded?  Human beings are capable of swimming, and if the attacking army is a cavalry, even horses swim very well, so both humans and horses can get through by swimming. However, the movement would be very slow, compared to how horsemen can march on the ground. When water floods, the crocodiles will emerge to the ground level. If anyone tries to swim, they will be torn apart by crocodiles which live in the moat. This is not just a theory, the crocs actually still live here today, and we see a dozen different sign boards warning us not to get into the water, because of crocodiles. Experts have not understood that the entire set up was created as a defense mechanism, and have been trying to explain the water gardens as a thing of beauty. But they are scratching their heads about some tanks which make absolutely no sense at all.

In random places, ancient builders have created tanks which are only few inches deep. They are very shallow, and their bases have been laid with polished marble and shiny stones. Experts have no idea why these were built, but these were built as defense mechanisms. These shallow tanks will appear as deep pools and confuse the enemies, it is a sort of a psychological warfare. The shiny rocks and marble were placed in, so they will reflect the sky and appear as though they are deep, and the enemy will definitely stumble, because some tanks, in this area, are really deep, and some tanks like these are actually shallow.

This is actually clearly explained in the Indian Epic Mahabharata, where a palace is built with deep and shallow pools side by side and makes the antagonist stumble and fall. The most interesting correlation is that the epic states that this palace was built by Mayasura, who is the Father-In-Law of King Ravana. And Sigiriya is more popularly known as Ravana’s Palace, and Sri Lankans believe he used Sigiriya Rock as a Fort or Palace.

Now, if enemies successfully passed through the first barrier, which is water, they would encounter something known as ‘Rock Gardens’ or ‘Boulder Gardens’ . This is the second level of defense system, a stone defense system. Here, ancient builders have made a brilliant blend of natural setting combined with artificial structures. The landscape design in this stage is completely in contrast to the symmetry and geometry of the firststage. The first stage has a lot of symmetrical structures, but this stage is full of random clusters of boulders. And these rocks appear to naturally make way for us, and you can see stairs have been built to go through them. The idea behind this defense system is this: These arches are so narrow that¬† only two people can walk through them at any given time. Even if you had an army of millions, you can only march in pairs through here, and you can be killed off easily. There are several pairs of rocks which are set up strategically, and I am not sure if they were already here naturally, or if they were put in place artificially.

Ancient builders definitely worked on them, here you can see the faces have been shaved off. Archeology reports tell me these are drip ledges, to prevent water from touching the rock face. All drip ledges are built to prevent water from touching what’s below them. But what is the need to protect the rock face? It doesn’t have a trace of painting, inscriptions or anything on it. And all these rocks have tool marks on them, which nobody has been able to explain. Is it possible, that these huge rocks were actually cut artificially and transported to this place and made into arches? I definitely think so, because otherwise there is no need for tool marks, shavings and I doubt if such a large number of rocks could occur naturally, in pairs, for ancient builders to construct stairs through them.

Even though archeologists believe Sigiriya was built during the 5th century, which is about 1500 years ago, they have examined the rock barriers set up all around this level. There are at least 30 different caves in this area, and excavation done at a cave called “Ahgala” revealed that people were living here 6,000 years ago. This has baffled experts and some are of the opinion that Sigiriya is the oldest surviving monument in Sri Lanka, which predates all historical records in the country. Now,¬† there are some rocks which are much more fascinating than these stone arches. All around Sigiriya, at high altitudes, there are strange, elongated, massive rocks placed at an angle.

For example, if we look at this rock, it at least 30 feet long and 15 feet tall and weighs a minimum of 1,000 tons.  Note how it has been placed on a slope using these small cylindrical rocks for balancing, there is no way this a natural occurrence. Ancient builders definitely cut this rock from the bottom half, lifted it up, and then placed small cylindrical rocks between them. These bizarre setups are called prison rocks, because locals imagine that people can be put through the crack, and will appear as though they are behind bars.

Sigiriya has several Prison Rocks set up all around it, but the question is why did ancient builders create these weird structures? Because, if enemies came past the water barrier and managed to get through the stone arches, these Prison Rocks can be easily moved out of their positions with minimal amount of force. All prison rocks are at an elevated level, so these massive rocks will drop from a height, and cause other rocks to drop as well, causing an avalanche effect, which will fall on the enemies and completely destroy them .  Ancient builders have clearly understood the concept of center of balance. Notice how, there are smaller stones placed on top of the rock, this was definitely done to alter its natural center of gravity.

These small stones, the angle at which the slope is made, the 30 degree angle at which these cylindrical stones are set up, were all done to make sure that the rock can be easily pushed down with just a little bit of force.  In fact, the archeology department understands that these rocks can be easily pushed down by tourists, which is why they have added these sand bags to make them immovable. Of course, the real question is how did ancient builders cut such a massive rock, and lift more than 1000 tons? How did they balance it on a slope with these stone bars, and how did they manage to balance these small stones at a 30 degree angle?

How did they calculate the center of gravity? Where did they test all these things? Today, it would be impossible to set this up  without heavy machinery and precise instruments.  And I have spoken only about 2 stages of defense, but as far as I know, I have never seen such an elaborate design created to protect any ancient site. I will talk about the other stages of defense in a different video.

Sigiriya (Ravana’s Palace) – Incredible Ancient Technology Found in Sri Lanka?

Hey guys, today we are going to look at a marvelous place in Sri Lanka, this place is known as Sigiriya. There is nothing like this anywhere in the world, which is why it is known as the 8th wonder of the world. This is actually a giant monolithic rock, about 660 feet tall, and you can see that it has a flat top, like somebody cut it with a giant knife. There are incredible ruins at the top which are extremely mysterious, so let us go straight to the top and see what’s up there.

As you can see there are a lot of strange brick structures here and there and it is not only confusing for visitors, but even archeologists are not able to make complete sense of what these structures were used for. They confirm that everything you see is at least 1500 years old. But the mystery is not what these structures are, it is how these structures were built. How did ancient builders manage to move all these bricks to the top of the rock? It is reported that at least 3 million bricks are found here, but it would be impossible to make these bricks on top of the rock, there is not enough clay available here. They would have to have transported these bricks from the ground.

Now, the really bizarre part is that there are no ancient stairs from the ground level which go to the top of the rock. Look, all these metal steps were built in the last century. Without these new stairs, it will be very hard to climb this rock. This whole rock is now set up with different types of stairs, this is the spiral stairs at a different level. The ancient builders built very limited stairs, but these stairs definitely did not reach the top. This is exactly why no one, not even the locals knew about Sigiriya until 200 years ago, because there were no stairs to the top. And this is why an Englishman by the name of Jonathan Forbes “Discovered” the ruins of Sigiriya in 1831.

So how did early human beings get to the top of Sigiriya? Let us assume that it is possible to hike up hill through these very steep, wooded areas. But to bring 3 million bricks from the ground level, you will definitely need proper stairs. Without this, it would be impossible to transport them to the top.

Even if we claim that the bricks were made on top of the rock itself by some miraculous means, The construction work here would have needed hundreds of workers. How did they get their food? Look around, there are no fruit bearing trees or crops growing here, to feed anyone. And what about tools? How did they carry their massive primitive tools? Where did they rest and sleep? But it gets more baffling. Look carefully, there are not only bricks here, but look at these blocks. This is marble.

The milky white marble stones are not native to this area at all. These blocks are actually very heavy, every stone which makes up a step weighs about 50 pounds. And we can find thousands of these marble blocks here. Experts agree that Marble is not naturally found anywhere nearby, so how were they transported up to a height of 660 feet, especially without stairs to climb ?

But it is not the bricks or the marble that really baffles me. It is the granite. Look at this large water tank. If you ignore the bricks and marble blocks around it, you understand that this is the largest monolithic tank in the world. It has not been built by adding stone blocks, it has been created by removing granite, by scooping out tons and tons of granite from Solid Rock. And exactly how many tons of rocks have been removed? This entire tank is 90 feet long and 68 feet wide and is about 7 feet deep. This means that at least 3,500 tons of granite have been removed. So you can take a minute to really sit back and think if mainstream archeologists are right.

If human beings were using primitive tools like chisels, hammers and pick axes on granite, which is one of the hardest rocks in the world, removing 3,500 tons would have taken years. And how did these workers feed themselves during all these years, if they don’t even have stairs to go to the ground level? There is something fundamentally wrong with mainstream history books which talk about ancient people cutting rocks with chisels and hammers. But this is not just a theory, we have actual evidence in front of our eyes. Look here, we don’t see individual chisel marks, we see long, snake like, winding tool marks which are continuous. This is not how primitive chiseling and wedge marks look. This tool mark reminds us of scooping ice cream out of a container. Ancient builders must have used a similar technology to scoop out granite.

And this tank has some strange properties. It does not need any human interference, no one is adding water to it or draining water out of this tank. Throughout the year, it will never completely dry up even during the super hot summers, and it will also not overflow during rainy season. This is really strange because Sri Lanka does have very hot summers and gets a lot of rain during the monsoon season as well. The tank appears to collect water through percolation, and also seems to have a slow draining system underneath. There is another small rectangular tank which completely dries up during hot summers, unlike this large monolithic tank which always has fresh water. This is why locals refer to this huge tank as “Ravana’s Swimming Pool” because they believe it was built by Ravana, the greatest ruler of Sri Lanka, who lived many thousand years ago. According to ancient texts, Ravana was not human, but belonged to an extraterrestrial race called Asura, we will talk about this later.

Now, going back to the construction of all these structures on top of Sigiriya. How was it done? Today, we have modern stairs, railings and other facilities and you would still need to have good fitness, it takes about 2 hours to get to the top.
How did ancient builders climb on this rock, and transport materials, without having proper stairs? Experts will argue that ancient people did it with hard labor, they took many years and walked through the jungle.

But I am going to show you more evidence that ancient builders must have had some other technology or capability to accomplish these constructions. Look at the rock face here: You can clearly see the tool marks, large channel like rectangular cuts and various other markings. Archeologists confirm that these were made during ancient times. But look around, do you see any stairs or even a slope or a tree to stand on? How were these cuts made, if there is not even a place for a human being to stand? How did anyone get up there? Were these cuts made by humans or by Asuras, who were equipped with advanced technology?

These look like steps going up, but they are going vertically up, at a 90 degree angle, so it is impossible for human beings to use them. In fact, these are not steps, archeologists call them grooves and don’t know why many ancient sites around the world have these grooves. But more importantly, how were these grooves created on this rock? On top, look at these holes, these are circular holes made artificially. Look at this deep hole. It has been clearly cut with advanced technology and goes deep inside the rock. These are not natural. Why were they created?

In 1982, Sigiriya was declared as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Why? Because it has a very unique feature. Sigiriya was the place where nature and ancient technology were combined to get the desired output. For example, look at this brilliant entrance near the ground level. Experts are still struggling to decide if this is natural or not. There are marks on rocks which cannot be determined if they are natural or artificially made.
For example, look at this rock here, are these artificial or natural grooves? Most experts will claim these are natural, but look carefully as I pan from right to left. What about now? Is it natural, or is it artificially cut?

What about this protruding, over hanging stone? look at the cut here – the dark cut. The rock was cut like butter, as though using a giant, hot knife. And what about this dark plate like projection? How were these made, 1500 years ago?

If we analyze the rock face, we are baffled at the details. There are tool marks all over the rock. There are striations, and cubes cut out . Deep channels are cut on the rock, but they are horizontal, so they were not used for channeling water or anything. What were they used for? More importantly, how did they carve them? Where were the workers standing?

So, what do you think? Was Sigiriya made by human beings with Primitive tools and Hard Labor? If so, how did they bring 3 million bricks, and tons and tons of marble rocks from the ground? How did they manage to cut 3,500 tons of granite and find a unique technology to keep the tank always filled with water? How did they make these cuts on the rock face, without any stairs, or even a place to stand? Or was Sigiriya, really built by Asuras, who had extraordinary technology?
